TCN, Ekiti partner on power lines, substation projects
The Transmission Company of Nigeria has signed a pact with the Government of Ekiti State to build 13,233 kilovolt transmission lines in Ado Ekiti – Ilupeju and Ado Ekiti – Ijesha Ishu.The state Governor, Kayode Fayemi, represented by his Deputy, Bisi Egbeyemi, said Ekiti now had only one 132kV transmission substation which was very inadequate for the state. The projects, when completed, would provide prospects for industry growth.
