Scotland supporters enjoyed their day in Munich despite the result.

Scotland fans declared 'the party must go on' after watching from Munich's spectacular fanzone as their national team heroes slipped to a heavy 5-1 defeat against the hosts.

But it was a crushing defeat. As the hosts netted the early opener pints went flying and a flare was lit as gutted Scots were seen biting their nails. After the jubilant scenes early on some of the Tartan Army were even seen yawning as the fans became sick and tired of what was being shown on the screen.

"The fan zone is absolutely fantastic. They had bands on throughout the day and everyone's been enjoying themselves. The wait for the beers wasn't ideal but it is what it is. We all just took our turn going up." "We immediately got a good spot and didn't move all day. The queues for the drinks were horrendous but what can you do."

Robert, who works in construction, said: "We've been lucky enough to travel the word with Scotland but this is by far the best atmosphere I've ever seen.
