THE Taraba State Government has reversed the 2020 budget of N215,823, 376,810 earlier passed and signed into law by 38 per cent.
State lawmakers at the Wednesday sitting of the House in Jalingo approved the downward review of the budget from N215.8bn to N176.6bn in line with the COVID-19 realities, with a difference of 39,207,058,335 representing 38 per cent.
Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Albasu Kunini, then put the question for the approval of the budget, which was unanimously approved by the House.
