KUALA LUMPUR: The government will review the implementation of the early redemption of accumulated leave under the"Cash Award in Lieu of Leave ", as announced under Budget 2020.
"This is because the calculation formula for the accumulated leave of GCR is based on the current salary of the civil servant. Shaharizukirnain Abd Kadir had asked the government the status of implementation of the early redemption programme as introduced under the Budget 2020. Citing an example, Takiyuddin said that a grade M54 who applied for a redemption of GCR during full retirement will receive a total of RM55,107.95.
