A human rights and pro-democracy group, Take It Back Movement (TIB) has demanded the proscription of the outgoing Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, for alleged oppression, suppression and proscription of the Atyap Community Development Association in Southern Kaduna. TIB in a statement released by its North Central Zonal Coordinator, Deborah Yusuf, alleged that El-Rufai went on a demolition spree on May 23 and May 26, 2022 in Gbagyi village in Kaduna South, leading to the death of three persons with many feared injured.

It noted that after that, El-Rufai arbitrarily proscribed the Atyap Community Development Association as an unlawful society.
