Sweeper’s viral video: LAWMA employs asthmatic supervisor

The Lagos State Waste Management Authority has re-employed a supervisor, Olamide Suleiman, who appeared in a viral video lamenting non-payment of salary arrears of street sweepers in Lagos.

learnt that Suleiman and 19 other sweepers under him were given direct employment by the government on Wednesday.

This newspaper had reported that LAWMA was being defrauded by some contractors who padded the wage bills of street sweepers and supervisors under them.The state government advised the sweepers under them to re-apply for employment.
