The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his landmark victory at the Supreme Court.
SWAN President, Mr. Isaiah Benjamin, in a statement issued by the association’s Secretary-General Amb. Ikenna Okonkwo in Abuja, said the verdict by the country’s apex court on the 2023 presidential election is a proof that President Tinubu has been trusted with the mandate to move Nigeria forward.
“On behalf of teaming and respected members of the sporting media in Nigeria, I firmly congratulate President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for their resounding victory at the Supreme Court.“The judgement of the Apex Court is obviously a testament of trust and the overall mandate given you by Nigerians, especially the young people to better their lots.
