Charles Soludo, governor of Anambra, says security operatives have arrested the suspected mastermind behind the killing of US staff in Ogbaru LGA of the state. TheCable had reported that gunmen
that gunmen attacked a convoy conveying staff of the US consulate, killing four in the process.
In an interview with Channels TV on Friday, Soludo said some of the perpetrators of the act have been killed.“Yes, I can tell you with clarity that investigation is ongoing. But like you said, we have zero tolerance for this kind of criminality,” he said. “And as we speak now, yesterday, the actual leader… the mastermind of the particular gang has been arrested and he’s here with us.“And it doesn’t really matter whether it is the life of an American citizen. The life of an American citizen is not superior to any other. Every human being has a right to life.
