Tanimowo Oyemade, House of Assembly candidate of the African Action Congress in Ogun has been attacked by thugs suspected to be members of the ruling All Progressives Congress. SaharaReporters gathered that the attack on Oyemade occurred on Monday around Oke-Aje market in Ijebu Ode. The victim is vying to represent Ijebu-Ode at the state House of Assembly in 2023.

“This is to inform the general public that our honorable TANIMOWO OYEMADE of the African Action Congress OGHA 23 has been seriously brutalized by APC men today 24th October 2022 around Oke-Aje market.

The reason for such is yet to be ascertained at the moment.“May God help us from this bitter politics people are playing in Ogun state Nigeria,” Hassan Bolaji, AAC Ijebu-Ode council area chairman said in a statement.
