A Seattle man who is in custody for striking people with a hammer at a train station is now accused of an attack in August whereProsecutors filed charges of robbery and burglary against Richard Aaron Gordon, 39, in addition to the assault charges he was already facing after his arrest earlier this month.
According to charging documents, Gordon attacked a security guard at the Nordstrom store at 500 Pine Street after he was told to leave the business." grabbed a bottle of hand sanitizer and hit the victim in the head. assaulted the victim, punching her repeatedly causing bleeding, swelling, and pain. The suspect bit the victim's finger, drawing blood. is known to have a communicable disease that he currently takes medication for," a Seattle police officer wrote in an arrest report.
Gordon is then accused of stealing the victim's access card and stealing a laptop from an office in the Nordstrom. At the time of the attack in August, police were not able to identify or arrest a suspect for the attack on the employee.Man charged in attack at Beacon Hill light rail station had history of threatening behavior
After Gordon's arrest for the train station attack, the Nordstrom employee identified him as her attacker, according to the police report.
