S’Court’s declaration on Buni: Govs hold emergency meeting today, APC chiefs differ, congresses to hold - Punch Newspapers
“If we are to take what is in circulation for its face value, it means that what they have said unanimously represents their position on that.
“That is what I would have expected not to just ignore the judgment. This is the kind of impunity that has been landing the APC in trouble and they seem not to have learnt a lesson.” The former Senator noted that most members of the APC accepted the reality of the CECPC as a decision of the National Executive Committee with the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , as leader in attendance.
The chairman, who expressed delight on the development, explained that the judgment of the apex court had not in any way sacked the caretaker committee of the ruling party.that no court judgment sacked Buni.But Ojudu and Ita Enang advised the APC to suspend all actions on the congresses.
