A former governor of Anambra State and the 2019 vice presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Peter Obi, has begged stakeholders of the party to join hands with the party’s governorship candidate in the November poll in the state, Valentine Ozigbo, to win the election.
Obi spoke at the PDP stakeholders’ reconciliation meeting in Awka, the Anambra State capital on Thursday.He described Ozigbo’s emergence as the candidate of the party as divine. Obi said, “Ozigbo candidacy is divine and ordained by God for the position and there is nothing we can do other than to support him.
“I am begging and appealing to everybody that contested against our candidate to come together and rally round him. “Primary election has come and gone, it is time to come together as a family to win the governorship election which is most important.All rights reserved.
