An Islamic cleric, Sheikh Khalifa Kabiru Qasimu Awwalu has appealed to Nigerians to support governments at various levels with prayer.
The cleric made the disclosures shortly after he led Muslim congregation to observe the two Rakah obligatory Eld-Kabir prayers at the premises of St. Gabriel Secondary School Alao Akala Road Sabo, Ibadan on Wednesday. He explained that governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has assisted non- indigenes just the way he had done for the indigenes of the state.Awwalu said, “We thank God for the success of this Eld-Kabir. It is the festival of sacrifices. We have been praying in this place at St. Gabriel Secondary School Alao Akala Road Sabo Ibadan for some years.
