Super Falcons to face either Chad or Ethiopia in race to Paris

The Falcons drew a bye from the first because of their seeding but will have to go through three rounds to stamp their qualification for the Paris Games

Following the draw on Tuesday, Nigeria’s Super Falcons will face either Ethiopia or Chad in the second round of qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games Women’s Football Tournament.

The top seven seeds, based on positions from last year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations , are led by champions South Africa. The eight winners then progress to the third round, before the fourth round, where the teams will be reduced to four. The winners of the fourth round will qualify for the final tournament.
