The Nation Newspaper Super Eagles: PFAN, Adepoju, Amokachi back Finidi
he Professional Footballers Association Of Nigeria , has congratulated Finidi George on his appointment as the substantive coach of the Super Eagles.
It stated: ”Finidi George is a great and worthy choice for the exalted Super Eagles coaching job as a former player and member of PFAN.”We want to reiterate that we are solidly behind him and would give him every assistance necessary for him to do his job.” Adepoju, Amokachi and George were members of the historic Super Eagles team that played in the country’s maiden World Cup appearance in 1994 and they were also together at the 1998 World Cup.
