Collins sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury while in action for Sky Bet Championship club, Cardiff City early this season.The 27-year-old recounts his experience in a chat with thenff.com. “I have never suffered any injury since I started playing football professionally and to go through a whole nine months without football was a torrid period for me,” Collins said.Collins linked up with the Bluebirds on a free transfer last summer after severing ties with Bundesliga 2 side, SC Paderborn.
