Following the picketing of domestic wings of Murtala Muhammad International Airport, MMIA, Lagos, by the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC, passengers have lamented the flight disruption.
Those who spoke to Vanguard said although the demand of labour unions were legitimate, the strike action was a result of the citizenry’s actions and inactions at the 2023 general elections.
He said: “I feel bad because we caused this situation for ourselves. This is what we chose. During the election, we made this choice. This is what we want, and it will continue like this until when we wake up.
