The lawmaker held an expanded consultation with leaders and members of various state caucuses during the meeting in the holy city of Makkah, on Monday.
Photographs obtained by DAILY POST showed the lawmaker interacting with colleagues who will make up the 10th House of Representatives at his apartment in the holy city. The source informed that the caucus agreed that it had all it required to rally around Betara, considering the roles he had played as the Chairman of the Committee on Appropriation.
