Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker Mudashiru Obasa and members on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Senator Adebayo Osinowo at their Molipa, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State home.
Obasa extolled the qualities and contributions of the late Osinowo to the growth of the Assembly in his 16 years as a member.Dr. Tunde Osinowo, the first son of the deceased, who spoke on behalf of the family, thanked Obasa and other members for the visit.He said their father had prepared them for his demise through his talks and deeds while he was alive, but it was hard for them to cope with the reality of his sudden death.
A former lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos State, Mr. Dayo Bush-Alebiosu, has condoled with the family of the late Senator Osinowo. In a condolence message, Bush-Alebiosu described him as an experienced lawmaker, who would be missed by Nigeria, his constituents and particularly the people of Kosofe where he emerged.
”With a heavy heart, I commiserate with the family and people of Lagos State on the demise of Senator Osinowo, popularly called Pepperito. ”There is no doubt that he will be sorely missed. May his soul rest in peace,” the statement said.
