Sowore Mocks Tinubu, Says APC Candidate Slept Throughout Meeting With Peace C’ttee, Couldn’t Talk News
, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, claiming that the latter dozed off throughout a meeting of presidential candidates and party leaders with the National Peace Committee in Abuja on Friday.
Sowore, who took to his verified Twitter handle on Friday evening shortly after the meeting under the chairmanship of a former Head of State and co-chairman of NPC, General Abdulsalami Abubakar , added that Tinubu did not only sleep off through the meeting, but he couldn’t also talk as the APC national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, spoke for him.
The activist turned AAC presidential candidate wrote: “We just returned from a meeting of party leaders/Presidential candidates with the national peace committee in Abuja, the Presidential candidate of The slept through the meeting, he didn’t say a word. His party chair spoke on his behalf.” LEADERSHIP reports that NPC met with the leaderships and presidential candidates of the 18 registered political parties on Friday and subjected them to fresh commitment to the Peace Pact they earlier signed ahead of the next month’s polls.
The meeting was apparently informed by the cacophony of tirades of abuse and barrage of verbal attacks by the candidates in the ongoing campaigns for the forthcoming general election.
