Former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress in the 2019 and 2023 general elections, Omoyele Sowore has leaked a memo said to be from the Nigeria Police Force regarding the #FearlessInOctober protest scheduled for October 1, 2024.

'POLICE PANIC WIRE ABOUT #FEARLESSINOCTOBER,' Sowore, who is also one of the organizers of the protest, wrote briefly to accompany the memo. He stressed that the protests will not stop until the government addresses the demands of the protesters.
