‘Southwest APC leaders ’ll address voters’ apathy’
AN All Progressives Congress chieftain, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, said yesterday that the party’s leaders in the Southwest region would resolve the reoccurring decimal of voters’ apathy during elections.
The Special Assistant to President on Political Matters described the low turnout of voters recorded during the general elections as worrisome. Ojudu spoke in Ado Ekiti yesterday while reminiscing on the outcome of the presidential election, which was adjudged to have recorded low turnout in his Southwest region.
“This is an issue of concern to all of us. We must address it if truly we want to be relevant or translate our population to benefits and recognition.
