Southampton vs Man Utd: Solskjaer confirms two players that will miss EPL game
Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has confirmed that Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw will miss the Red Devils’ Premier League clash against Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday.
Martial and Shaw picked up knocks in Man United’s 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford last weekend. Speaking on Martial and Shaw, Solskjaer told MUTV on Friday: “They’re doing okay, but they won’t be involved in this game against Southampton. “They’ll need the international break. Hopefully, Anthony is ready for the Leicester game and Luke maybe another week or two after that.
“They’ve got slight injuries that they picked up in the game against Palace, and in one respect, it’s a positive time to get it, because it’s the international break for them, and they won’t miss many games.”
