The Executive Council of the All Progressives Congress APC, South South Zone has passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Tinubu
The Executive Council of the All Progressives Congress APC, South South Zone has passed a vote of confidence on the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging him to consider contesting the office of the President for a second term in 2027.
The Committee, after deliberating on reports on the strengths, weaknesses, and reforms from the six states of the zone—Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, and Rivers—also commended the president for his commitment to the coastal road project and the commencement of the construction from both ends of the project.
The party passed a vote of confidence on the President of the Senate, Sen Godswill O. Akpabio, as the Leader of the APC in the zone and Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, as the coordinator of the South-South geo-political zone as well as Hon. Chief Victor Giadom and the Zonal Executive Members of the Party.
