The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has warned that some intending pilgrims for the 2023 Hajj exercise may miss the exercise due to the delay in

Executive Secretary of the board, Ahmed Umar Labbo stated this in an interview with DAILY POST on the board’s preparation for the Hajj exercise.

He said the board has fixed 21st April 2023 as the deadline for the completion of the Hajj fare, warning that failure to pay before the deadline may lead to the cancellation of the seats of affected pilgrims. He said ”each prospective pilgrim is expected to pay N2,919,000 million as this year’s Hajj fare, the board had fixed Friday, April 21, 2023, as the deadline for the collection of balance from the state intending pilgrims”.

” We are therefore urging all intending pilgrims who made deposit payments to come forward and settle their balance of N419,000 within the deadline.” Labbo added that a total of 1,514 intending pilgrims are expected to perform this year’s hajj from Jigawa State.
