Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos, says the death of Ifeanyi Ubah, senator representing Anambra south, is “shocking and a tremendous loss” to the country.

“He was an astute businessman and politician who made significant contributions to nation-building as a representative of his people in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.“I extend my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, friends, colleagues, and associates, especially the good people of Anambra South, who are mourning the loss of their illustrious son.

He described the late politician as a prominent son of Anambra and an outstanding Nigerian whose impact on the polity and business sphere was quite significant.
