Some soldiers from Letmauck Barracks, Mokola, Ibadan, have allegedly tortured a bureau-de-change operator over an altercation relating to the sale of a phone.

The victim – Ali Abubakar, who was receiving treatment at a privately-owned hospital, said one of the uniformed men used a knife on him and beat him to stupor during the incident on Thursday evening.
