The Sokoto State Government has announced the discharge of 22 coronavirus patients after showing full recovery from the deadly coronavirus disease.

The announcement was made by the Sokoto State Ministry of Health in a tweet via it’s Twitter account on Tuesday. The tweet read “22 more patients were today discharged from our Amanawa, UDUTH & OTC Isolation centres to reunite with the society.“Residents are advised to continue to stay safe and adhere to preventive measures.”

The State Government had earlier announced that another COVID-19 death was recorded, which brings to 13 the total of deaths recorded from the virus in the state.
