About six people have been killed and eight others sustained various degrees of injuries in Ambe community in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, following an attack by unknown gunmen A statement issued by a member of the House of Representatives for Jema'a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Daniel Amos, said the incident took place in the early hours of Monday when the invaders stormed the community in their large numbers shooting sporadically.
It is unacceptable that our people cannot live in peace without fear of being attacked by these criminal elements.' The lawmaker called on all residents of Sanga local government area to remain calm and peaceful, assuring them that efforts are being made to find a lasting solution to the insecurity in the area. 'We must continue to promote peaceful coexistence among our diverse communities, irrespective of our differences,' he emphasized.
