Ex-presidential candidates operating under the aegis of 'Patriotic Presidential Candidates Forum', have lashed out at the leader of the secessionist
Ex-presidential candidates operating under the aegis of ‘Patriotic Presidential Candidates Forum’, have lashed out at the leader of the secessionist group, Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for declaring Monday, August 16, 2021, a sit-at-home day in the Southeast.
Though, IPOB has reportedly suspended the directive, the forum, however, lamented the huge cost the people of Southeast have incurred for observing sit-at-home out of fear in the past. The statement said: “Igbos are hard-working and intelligent people, but it never occurred to them that Nnamdi Kalu may be an agent of destabilization and destruction being sponsored by foreign or local agents in order to destroy the Southeast.
“Stay at home will not compel the government to release Nnamdi Kalu even if the stay at home order was observed to the latter.
