Former Arsenal defender, Mikael Silvestre believes the Gunners could finally end Manchester City's stranglehold on English football by winning the Premier League this season. Arsenal have made a superb start to the campaign, winning six out of eight Premier League matches.
Mikel Arteta’s side sit second in the Premier League table, behind Tottenham Hotspur on goal difference. They made plenty of changes to their squad in the summer, bringing the likes of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber, and goalkeeper David Raya to the Emirates. 'They could do it , but I’m not going to say they will win it as that would be a foolish thing to say when you consider how long the season is.
They are better equipped than they were last season, they’ve strengthened their squad in key areas and they have greater self-belief,' Silvestre told GGRecon.
