Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to assent to the Nigerian Peace Corps Establishment Act without delay.

The signing of the act into law would go a long way toward providing employment for a large number of unemployed youths, the governor said. “I call on the Nigerian Peace Corps to unite in forming a common front towards achieving the mandate upon which it is being established. The Commandant General of the Nigerian Peace Corps, Dr Mustapha Abubakar, thanked President Buhari for agreeing to give assent to the Nigerian Peace Corps Establishment Act.
