Niger State Governor, Hon Muhammad Umar Bago has warned the newly sworn in Commissioners and Special Assistants to steer clear of corruption, complacency

He threatened that anyone caught in the web of corruption will definitely be shown the way out of his administration.

He said, “let me sound very clearly that there will be no room for complacency, docility and very importantly, corruption. He also commended the Speaker and members of the Niger State House of Assembly for the smooth screening and confirmation of nominees sent to them, adding that this singular act had attested to their determination to build and maintain a harmonious relationship among the various arms of government for the purpose of enshrining good governance in the State.

“Therefore, I expect you to bring these hallmarks of excellence and commitment to bear on this new assignment”.
