Shugaba emerges new University of Maiduguri VC
Shugaba was before his appointment, the Deputy Vice Chancellor .In a chat with newsmen on Friday, Pro-chancellor and Chairman of the Council, Professor Biodun Adesanya, said Professor Shugaba emerged after scoring 83.8 per cent, the highest of 14 candidates interviewed.
The Pro-Chancellor said Shugaba’s appointment as the new VC was in accordance with Sub-Section 3 of the universities Act 2012.
