And we all know that po-liticking is of the world, and it is not of God but of the devil, who is the prince of this world and its vain-glories. Jesus Christ resist-ed every temptation of the devil, to entice Him with the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them—Matthew 4:8-10. Jesus also resisted every attempt by the people to make Him a king by force—John 6:15.
