“I have made such a change in the way I live and in my relationship with food and exercise.”
Using a meal prep service really took a lot of stress off my shoulders. I didn’t have to worry about spending an entire Sunday cooking and portioning. It was all done for me. Now that I am in the thick of half-marathon training , I eat more than I did when I started and the weight isn’t coming off as fast, but I don’t want to lose muscle ahead of the race. Once the November 1 race is finished, I’ll go back to my smaller portions.
Down so much weight, I feel fantastic. My clothes fit better, I have far less joint pain , and I’m in a much better mood. My advice to anyone who wants to make a similar change in their life is to take it one day at a time and not to beat yourself up if you have a bad day. I used to let one setback ruin my whole week. I don’t do that anymore. Have the cookie if you want the cookie. Just keep working on getting healthier and stronger.on November 1. My goal is to finish in under three hours. I feel really good about that, especially when I look how far I’ve already come.
