The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, has described Minister of Water Resources, Engr. Suleiman Adamu, as an exemplary

He said this at a farewell dinner organised by the ministry in honour of its outgoing minister whose administration winds down later this month.

The SGF described Adamu as a committed, intelligent and knowledgeable in many fields, not only in engineering but also in his passion towards change and sustainable development that made the Federal Executive Council prioritised actions on the water and sanitation sector. Earlier in her remark, permanent secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, said she enjoyed a good working relationship with the minister alongside with other agencies and development partners in the ministry.

She said his service as a two-term minister under the Buhari administration has laid a solid foundation in the water sector with a strong will suitable for the ministry to build on. She also noted that although he had a private sector background, yet the minister has displayed a very understanding of the workings in the civil service, with a mindset of always ensuring due processes and procedures especially in actualising programmes and projects.
