For Gombe/ Kwami/Funakaye, the party’s candidate, Bauchi Yaya Tango got 173,466 to defeat the PDP’ Abubakar Shehu who polled 57,365 In the Gombe central senatorial election, an incumbent senator and former governor of the state, Danjuma Goje of the APC scored 110,116 to defeat Abubakar Nasiru of the PDP. Also, in Gombe North, APC’s Alkali Ahmed polled 152,546 votes to defeat the incumbent Governor of the stat IbrahimDankwambo. Katsina The APC has also won the three senatorial seats in Katsina.
