Senator Osinowo’s death sad, but govt would find solution to COVID-19 –Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu says he was shocked that the late Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District at the Upper Legislative Chamber of the National Assembly, Sikiru Adebayo Osinowo died when the state is consolidating on its gains in the fight against the novel coronavirus.

In a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, the governor said he was saddened by the death of the Lagos senator, but assured that the government will find a lasting solution to the COVID-19 pandemic. “He died at a time when we have just begun to consolidate on our successes and see a ray of hope in our fight against the COVID-19. We must not allow the death of Senator Osinowo to deter us from forging ahead in our quest to finding a lasting solution to the dreaded disease,” he said.
