The Nation Newspaper Senate committee, NDDC mull water transport terminals across N/Delta
in tandem with the Niger Delta Development Commission have hinted of plans to create leeway and multiple water transportation routes across the Niger Delta region in order to aid the economy of the region.Speaking during the unveiling of the Abitto Terminal in Calabar, the Chairman Senate Committee on NDDC, Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong representing Cross River South, said the terminal in the waterways is a major natural transportation resource for the Niger Delta.
