Senator Christopher Lawrence ‘’Bong’’ Go today joined Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri in welcoming a possible special session for the passage of an extension to the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act that expired last Wednesday.
“I am also committed to support other necessary legislative measures that can address the most immediate needs of our people at this time of crisis,” Go, chairman of the Senate health and demography committee, said.
There are talks of a possible special session of the Senate and the House of Representatives to be called by President Duterte to address the myriad of problems and issues triggered by the coronavirus disease pandemic.
