The Nation Newspaper SEC, AfDB build capacity on green finance
This strategic initiative, funded by the Capital Markets Development Trust Fund administered by the AfDB, aims to fortify Nigeria’s position as Africa’s leading hub for green and sustainable finance and it is being facilitated by Climate Transition Limited.
Director-General, Securities and Exchange Commission , Dr. Emomotimi Agama said SEC remains committed to fostering a sustainable financial ecosystem in Nigeria. He added that the workshop would also enhance the reputation and credibility of capital market operators and facilitate funding for innovative, environmentally friendly projects driving sustainable economic growth.
