Former Chief Press Secretary to Adegboyega Oyetola, the immediate past Governor of Osun State, Ismail Omipidan has described the allegation by the Ademola

Adeleke administration that the former governor abandoned the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs, projects in Osogbo and Iragbiji as an attempt to play politics with governance.

In a statement signed by Omipidan and obtained by DAILY POST on Wednesday, Omipidan noted that it was preposterous for the present administration to accuse the Oyetola government of abandoning projects that were duly completed, equipped and inaugurated weeks before the expiration of its tenure. “The Iragbiji community especially should be commended for providing adequate security around the projects to ensure that they were not looted even when they gave the government the land free of charge to accommodate the projects.
