A handful of school districts on Vancouver Island said Tuesday that they are open after snow blanketed Vancouver Island during the overnight hours.
Snow may have fallen overnight in many parts of Vancouver Island, but school is still open for many today.
Greater Victoria School District , Sooke School District and Nanaimo-Ladysmith School District all announced Tuesday morning that schools are open.The announcements come after as much as 10 centimetres of snow fell overnight Monday in many parts of Vancouver Island.All schools in the Greater Victoria School District are OPEN today . Please use extra caution when travelling to and from school as some roads and sidewalks may be slippery in some places.
