Saraki, others attend fidau for ex-sports minister's mother

A former President of the Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki on Sunday led other dignitaries to attend the fidau prayer for Alhaja Rafat Abdullahi, mother of a former sports minister

A former President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, on Sunday led other dignitaries to attend the fidau prayer for Alhaja Rafat Abdullahi, mother of a former sports minister, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Other dignitaries that graced the event included a former governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Netherland, Hajia Nimita Akanbi, and a former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Babatunde Mohammed. Alhaja Rafat died on Wednesday at the age of 76 and was buried the same day at her Olunlade, Ilorin residence.
