Aides reiterate governor’s commitment to youths, sports development Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reiterated the inevitability of press freedom for democracy to thrive. The governor, however, directed that the station should operate with a difference, as well as ensuring dissemination of true information to the people of Lagos State and the world at large. IN another development, Senior Special Assistant to Lagos State Governor on Sports, Mr. Anthony Adeyinka Adeboye, and Director-General of Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr. Oluwatoyin Gafar, yesterday, said that Sanwo-Olu is committed to sports and youths development, the reason he has invested so much in the sector since he came onboard.
Gafar said that the state government had been developing nine sports facilities simultaneously across the state, which according to him, would be completed before the end of the first term of Sanwo-Olu’s administration.
