The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has promised waste managers under the aegis of the Association of Waste Managers of Nigeria an increase in their salaries and urged them to vote for the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming elections.
The governor made the promise on Thursday during a rally organised by the union to endorse the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and Sanwo-Olu’s re-election bid at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan.
Sanwo-Olu said, “I urge you all to vote for the APC at all levels. Tell everyone in your neighbourhood, tell your friends, those you work for, and even your children that this is the profession that you derive your income from. We will increase your income. “We urge you not to listen to the lies and the liars; they want to take away your livelihood, I pray this does not happen. We are ready to support your association.”
