t casualty. That Dr. Bukola Saraki wished himself back to the Senate as Senate President for the second time is an incontestable fact, but due to supervening odds against him arising from ceaseless Parliament – executive feud, he could not make it on the 23rd February, 2019.
One of such victim of Saraki’s high handedness is the Senator representing Borno South Senatorial district, Ali Ndume and former Senate leader who was suspended from the Senate for three months. He was later restored by the Federal High Court which said, Senate lack powers to suspend a lawmaker.Senate’s suspension of Ovie Omo-Agege representing Delta Central Senatorial district who is believed to be close to the presidency created a phenomenon that would not be easily forgotten.
Abu Ibrahim vowed that Saraki would suffer his many sins against his colleagues in the Senate, noting that they would use government apparatus to stop him from coming back to the Senate.
