Former Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, has hit out at ministers who do not respond to Senate summons. Speaking during plenary on Friday, Kalu urged President Bola Tinubu to sack defaulting ministers. The Abia North senator also urged the Senate to punish ministers, as well as contractors, who snub the parliament's summons.

The Abia North senator also urged the Senate to punish ministers, as well as contractors, who snub the parliament's summons. 'They will insult our chairmen and people working in the Senate .
'Enough is enough, we should query these ministers and ask Mr President to drop them. 'How can a chairman of a committee be looking for a minister for close to three, four days and they will not answer phone? 'So they are doing the same thing Julius berger is doing.' Kalu emphasized the need for the ministers and heads of various parastatals to respect the senators.
