PETALING JAYA: Sabah MCA today hit out at plans to issue temporary passes known as PSS to some 600,000 foreigners in the state, saying previous documents issued to them should not be considered proof of their legal presence.
“The state has no such power or authority under our Federal Constitution. So state documents issued by the state government are not legally binding in this case,” she said. Yong said the state should have repatriated illegal immigrants instead of legalising them with a document that can be renewed every three years.
